source: In Saranac Lake there was a family called Ward,
and also the catalog store of Montgomery Ward. (referred to by most as Wards Catalog Agency) It came to pass that the Ward household was receiving all the mail addressed to the catalog store. An investigation by the postal authorities indicated that Wayne was the carrier responsible for the mail delivery to the Ward household.
