Lake youngsters shine TUPPER LAKE — The Tupper Lake Lumberjacks are
getting a big lift from eighth-grade standouts Hannah Klossner, Samantha Ormsby
and Katie Stuart.
(from the Plattsburgh Press-Republican)
Klossner claimed four firsts while Ormsby was in on three wins and Stuart, two,
Monday in leading the Lumberjacks to a 178-132 victory over the Norwood-Norfolk
Flyers in Northern Athletic Conference girls' track & field.
Kyla Kenyon, only a sophomore, contributed three firsts to the Tupper Lake
effort while seniors Katie Dattola and Billie Gadway won the throws.
Tupper Lake won all three relays and finished 1-2-3 in the 800 and 1,500 meters.
The Tupper Lake boys were not quite as fortunate as they ran into a powerful
Norwood-Norfolk squad and fell 171-67.
Cody Reandeau won the triple jump and Jacob Klossner, the high jump, for the
Lumberjacks.
